The Structure Editor is a tool for editing the structure diagrams used
in the Jackson Structured Programming (JSP) and Jackson System Development (JSD)
methods. The Structure Editor is a part of the Jackson Workbench
tool suite and can be purchased separately and used as a stand-alone editor, or
used in the integrated Keywood Workbench product. When used as part of
the Keywood Workbench it appears as a child window of the main Workbench window
and has a restricted set of menu entries. These restrictions are:
- There is no 'open' menu entry to open a file because in the Workbench files are opened by
double-clicking on their nodes in the project tree.
- There is a single 'generate code' menu item under the 'build' menu implying no choice of code generation
scheme. This is because in the Workbench the code generation scheme is implicit in the Project type.
