The Code Generation tab of the Options dialog allows control of the general-scheme of code generation.
(Note that users producing JSP Tool or JSP-Cobol style COBOL will see alternative tabs specific to those file formats.)
The tab is only available when a structure file is open :-
- Target Language - this controls the programming language that will
be produced when code is generated
(note this may be preset depending on licensing arrangements).
- Produce Inverted Code - if set then the generated code will be produced
using the principle of inversion
- Generate Auto Comments - if set this option will result in additional
lines of commentary being generated in the output file that relate to the
type of node that each section of code relates to
- Remove Unused Labels - when not set labels are generated for each
component of the structure regardless of whether they are referenced, this
option causes any redundant labels to be removed
- Include Generation Info - when set this includes a short header at
the top of the file given the date/time and details of the source file
- Block Indent - this sets the number of characters to use when indenting
blocks of code
